Straight, the new play by Scott Elmegreen and Drew Fornarola, celebrated its opening night at the Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row on February 29. The production is directed by Andy Sandberg and runs through May 8.

Straight is described as follows: "Meet Ben. Ben is a 26-year-old investment banker. Ben likes beer, sports, and Emily. And Chris." Jake Epstein heads the cast as Ben, with Thomas E. Sullivan as Chris and Jenna Gavigan as Emily.

Fornarola is the author of the musicals Claudio Quest and Molly Shannon’s Tilly The Trickster, as well as the film VeggieTales Noah's Ark. With Elmegreen, he is the author of the play Thucydides. Sandberg directed The Last Smoker in America and the coauthor of Application Pending.
