Classic Stage Company will present the world premiere of The Stowaway, a new play created by the Trusty Sidekick Theater Company and written and directed by Drew Petersen. It will be Classic Stage's first show for audiences 5 and up, and its first collaboration with Trusty Sidekick, a company known for multidisciplinary productions in unconventional spaces geared toward young audiences.

The play is described as follows: "Times are changing on the Island of Hockey Puck. A new Duke is ruling with an iron fist, the old Duke disappeared in a puddle of mystery, and a stowaway named Dull is on the run from it all back to her homeland of Illyria. Inspired by the plays and language of Shakespeare, this world premiere by the acclaimed Trusty Sidekick Theater Company uses puppetry, live music, and a sea of imagination."

The production will run at Classic Stage Company November 6-19.
