The world premiere of Clueless, the Musical will be presented as part of the 2018-19 season at The New Group.

Written by Amy Heckerling, who wrote and directed the beloved film adaptation, Clueless will be directed by Kristin Hanggi and choreographed by Kelly Devine. It will include a score that "reimagines '90s hits into ingenious parodies and yearning monologues for her lovesick characters." The run will begin in November at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Center.

The New Group season will kick off with Sharr White's The True, starring Edie Falco, Michael McKean, and Peter Scolari. Scott Elliott will direct the run, which begins in September at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre.

Alan Cumming will return to the stage in Jeremy O. Harris's new play, "Daddy," directed by Danya Taymor, running in February 2019 at the Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre. The play is a coproduction with Vineyard Theatre.

A new play by Jesse Eisenberg, Yea, Sister!, will be directed by Scott Elliott in April 2019.
