Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that Tony nominee Will Chase (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) will join previously announced Tony winner Kelli O'Hara in Kiss Me, Kate. Chase will star as Fred Graham/Petruchio with O'Hara leading the cast in the role of Kate/Lilli Vanessi. The production will play Studio 54, with previews beginning February 14, 2019, and opening night set for March 14. The limited engagement is scheduled to end its run on June 2.

Inspired by Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, Kiss Me, Kate features a book by Sam and Bella Spewack, and music and lyrics by Cole Porter. The show won the first-ever Tony Award for Best Musical in 1949 and features iconic musical theater tunes including "Too Darn Hot," "So in Love," and "Always True to You in My Fashion." In 2016, O'Hara and Chase also starred in a sold-out benefit concert reading of Kiss Me, Kate.

Directed by Scott Ellis and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, the production's creative team will include David Rockwell (sets), Jeff Mahshie (costumes), Donald Holder (lighting), Brian Ronan (sound), and David Brian Brown (hair and wig design). Additional casting will be announced in the coming months.
