The upcoming Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate, starring Tony Award winner Kelli O'Hara as Kate/Lilli Vanessi, will play Studio 54, Roundabout Theatre Company has announced. Previews will begin February 14, 2019, with opening night set for March 14. The limited engagement is scheduled to end its run on June 2.

Inspired by Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, Kiss Me, Kate features a book by Sam and Bella Spewack, and music and lyrics by Cole Porter. The show won the first-ever Tony Award for Best Musical in 1949 and features iconic musical theater tunes including "Too Darn Hot," "So in Love," and "Always True to You in My Fashion."

Directed by Scott Ellis and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, the production's creative team will include David Rockwell (sets), Jeff Mahshie (costumes), Donald Holder (lighting), Brian Ronan (sound), and David Brian Brown (hair and wig design). Casting will be announced in the coming months.

O'Hara returns to the Roundabout following her Tony-nominated performance in the company's 2006 Broadway revival of The Pajama Game. She also participated in a sold-out benefit concert reading of Kiss Me, Kate in 2016, also directed by Ellis. In addition to The Pajama Game, O'Hara has earned Tony nominations for her performances in The Light in the Piazza, South Pacific, Nice Work If You Can Get It, The Bridges of Madison County, and The King and I, for which she won the award in 2015.
