Westport Country Playhouse’s Tartuffe Adds Extra Performance

David Kennedy’s production of Moliere’s Tartuffe, starring Marc Kudisch in the title role, will now run through August 5. The comedy was original scheduled to close August 4 at the Westport County Playhouse.

Kudisch is joined by Mark Nelson (Orgon), Nadia Bowers (Elmire), Patricia Conolly (Madame Pernelle), Justin Adams (Damis), Charise Castro Smith (Mariane), Matthew Amendt (Valere), Tyrone Mitchell Henderson (Cleante), Jeanine Serralles (Dorine), Jeremy Lawrence (Monsieur Loyal), William Peden (Officer), and Chrissy Albanese (Flipote).

The production uses the verse translation by Richard Wilbur.
