Tru ended its run on Sunday, May 10.

The producers of Tru, which starred Tony Award winner Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Truman Capote, announced that the production recouped its initial investment during the course of its sold-out nine-week run of just 58 performances.
This first New York revival of Jay Presson Allen’s play ran at House of the Redeemer, a historic Upper East Side mansion, from March 6-May 10.
Directed by Rob Ashford, Tru also featured two-time Tony nominee Charlotte d’Amboise.
Tru, drawn entirely from Capote’s own words, takes place in December, 1975 in Truman Capote’s New York apartment, as Capote is reeling from a crisis that cost him the elite social circle he adored.
The creative team included Mike Harrison (scenic decor and properties), Emily Schmit (lighting design), Christopher Darbassie (sound design), and Kate Wilson (dialect coach).
