Theatre of NOTE is set to present the world premiere production of Padraic Duffy’s Copy, May 4-April 2. David LM McIntyre will direct.
In Copy, Theo begins a laughing club in an office bathroom as therapy. Soon, a rival crying club is formed in the opposite bathroom and a deadly power struggle ensues.
The cast will feature Troy Blendell, Cat Davis, Lauren Letherer, Gabby Sanalitro, Stephen Simon, and Phil Ward.
The design team will include Naomi Kasahara (set design), Brandon Baruch (lighting design), Peter Bayne (sound design and original music), and Takashi Morimoto (costume design).
