Chaplin, the son of the legendary actor and director Charlie Chaplin, appeared in his father’s films Limelight and A Countess From Hong Kong.
Chaplin’s other Broadway credits included Subways Are for Sleeping and Goodbye, Charlie. He also appeared in a television version of Wonderful Town opposite Rosalind Russell and the film version of Elmer Rice’s The Adding Machine with Milo O’Shea and Phyllis Diller.
He is survived by his wife Margaret and son Stephan.
