New Work Now!, the Public Theater’s program of free play readings, has announced its latest lineup of readings, planned for September 9-21. The events, which will take place in The Public’s Martinson Theater, are part of the Public’s commitment to developing and mentoring new voices for the American Theater.

New Work Now! allows audiences to experience new work by a diverse selection of established and emerging theater artists. September’s readings will feature playwrights including Robert O’Hara, Jessica Blank, Erik Jensen, Kathryn Grody, Ethan Lipton, Dominique Morisseau, and Adi Hanash.

“Sharing new work-in-progress with our audiences is always a thrilling experience, and this dynamic lineup (for free) is not to be missed,” said Associate Artistic Director Mandy Hackett in a statement.
