Stephen Schwartz to Participate in Talk-Back Following April 24 Performance of Godspell

Godspell composer Stephen Schwartz will participate in a talk-back immediately following the Tuesday, April 24 performance of the musical revival at the Circle in the Square Theatre. The chat will be hosted by Sirius XM Satellite Radio’s Julie James.

Schwartz is also the composer of the musicals Pippin and Wicked and collaborated with Alan Menken on songs for the films Enchanted and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Godspell is conceived by original director John-Michael Tebelak. The current revival is directed by Daniel Goldstein, choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, and currently features Hunter Parrish as Jesus and Wallace Smith as Judas, along with Uzo Aduba, Nick Blaemire, Celisse Henderson, Morgan James, Telly Leung, Lindsay Mendez, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, and George Salazar.

As previously reported, Corbin Bleu will join the company replacing Parrish on Tuesday, April 17.
