Former Star Trek: The Next Generation star Gates McFadden will headline Ensemble Studio Theatre’s readings of The Vesuvius Prophesies, a trilogy of new plays by Tom Jacobson, November 3 and 4 at the Getty Villa in Los Angeles. Michael Michetti will direct.
The dramatic trilogy, set in a mysterious Roman villa overlooking Pompeii, spans nearly 2000 years, from the days preceding the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in A.D. 79 to the present day.
Readings of all three plays (Deus Ex Machina, Clytemnestra, and The Rosy Fingers of Dawn) can be viewed together or individually, in any order.
