St. Louis Shakespeare Festival Announces the Return of Romeo & Zooliet

The St. Louis Shakespeare Festival’s family comedy Romeo & Zooliet that premiered in St. Louis in 2025 returns September 24-October 11, in Shakespeare Glen in Forest Park.

Adapted from the award-winning graphic novel The Stratford Zoo Midnight Revue Presents Romeo and Juliet by Ian Lendler, Romeo & Zooliet is written by Jennifer Joan Thompson and directed by Tom Ridgely.

The production features animal puppetry by Michael Curry Design, known for its work on Broadway’s The Lion King and Frozen, along with Olympic and Super Bowl ceremonies.
