Gerard Alessandrini’s off-Broadway ”Hamilton” parody plays the 47th Street Theatre.
The off-Broadway hit Spamilton opened one year ago today, and in honor of their paper anniversary the cast held a fun photo shoot at their current home, the 47th Street Theatre. The show, a parody of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Tony-winning Hamilton, is currently in an open run.
The cast of Spamilton includes Chris Anthony Giles, Nicole Vanessa Ortiz, Aaron Michael Ray, Dan Rosales, and Tristan J. Shuler. Cameron Amandus and Claudia Yanez are the show's understudies.
Spamilton is written and directed by Gerard Alessandrini. In addition, the creative team includes Gerry McIntyre (choreography), Dustin Cross (costume design), Richard Danley and Fred Barton (musical arrangements), and Michael Cassara (casting director).
