The third annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards were presented on Tuesday, June 18 at a ceremony at theater district eatery Sardi’s. Honoring outstanding achievement throughout the 2012-2013 season, award winners included Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Best New Play), Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 (Best New Musical), The Piano Lesson (Best Play Revival), Closer Than Ever (Best Musical Revival), Buyer & Cellar (Best Unique Theatrical Experience), and Bunnicula (Best Family Show). Sigourney Weaver, Christopher Durang, Kristine Nielsen, Daryl Roth, A.R. Gurney, and Stop were presented with Legend of Off Broadway awards.
