Sean Cameron-Young, Trip Langley, Jeremy Parise Set For Rise Above Theatre’s Take Me Out

Rise Above Theatre Movement has announced casting for their production of Richard Greenberg’s Take Me Out. Directed by Kenne Guillory, the show will run May 25 – June 10.

The cast will include Sean Cameron-Young, Trip Langley, Jeremy Parise, Dex Depoutot, Kenyatta Deets, Marc Lindquist, Patrick Hilt, Irwin, Adrian Scott Jr., Marquis, Kenne Guillory and Jesus Rodriguez.

The play, which won a Tony and Drama Desk Awards in 2003, tells the story of baseball phenom Darren Lemming who is so convinced of his own invincibility that he announces publicly that he is gay. Things go fine for Darren until Shane Mungitt, an unstoppable pitcher and homophobe, joins the team and begins to clash with Darren.
