Hallie Foote, the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright’s daughter, will lead the cast.
Primary Stages has announced complete casting for Horton Foote's The Roads to Home, which will open the company's 2016-17 season. Directed by Michael Wilson (who helmed the 2013 Broadway revival of Foote's The Trip to Bountiful), The Roads to Home will begin performances September 14 at the Cherry Lane Theatre in advance of an October 5 opening and will run through November 6.
Joining the previously announced Devon Abner (The Orphans' Home Cycle) and Hallie Foote (Dividing the Estate) will be Dan Bittner (The Vertical Hour), Rebecca Brooksher (Dying City), Tony winner Harriet Harris (Thoroughly Modern Millie), and Matt Sullivan (Standing on Ceremony).
The creative team will feature scenic design by Jeff Cowie, costume design by David C. Woolard, lighting design by David Lander, original music and sound design by John Gromada, and casting by Stephanie Klapper Casting.
