Playwrights Horizons Extends Detroit With Amy Ryan and David Schwimmer Through October 28

Playwrights Horizons acclaimed production of Lisa D’Amour’s 2011 Pulitzer Prize finalist Detroit has extended its run by two weeks. The production will now close on October 28, instead of October 16.

Anne Kauffman directs dark comedy, which focuses on the friendship between two sets of neighbor couples in an unnamed city. It stars Amy Ryan, David Schwimmer, Darren Pettie, Sarah Sokolovic, and John Cullum.

The production features scenic design by Louisa Thompson, costume design by Kaye Voyce, lighting design
by Mark Barton, and sound design by Matt Tierney.
