On Wednesday, November 9, The Blue Flower opened Off-Broadway at Second Stage Theatre. Opening night guests included Kate Baldwin, Steven Pasquale, Sarah Saltzberg, and Stephen Schwartz.

Written by husband-wife team Jim and Ruth Bauer, the musical uses video, dance and music to tell the story of four friends living through the periods spanned by two world wars. The cast features Sebastian Arcelus, Marc Kudisch, Meghan McGeary, Joseph Medeiros, Julia Osborne, Graham Rowat, Aaron Serotsky and Teal Wicks. Will Pomerantz has directed the production.
