PHOTO FLASH: Howard McGillin and Company of Paper Mill’s Damn Yankees Meet the Press

The cast and creative team of the Paper Mill Playhouse production of Damn Yankees met the press on Wednesday, February 29 at the Foxwoods Theatre rehearsal studio.

Cast members Howard McGillin (Applegate), Chryssie Whitehead (Lola), Christopher Charles Wood (Joe Hardy), Joseph Kolinski (Joe Boyd), Patti Cohenour (Meg Boyd), Nancy Anderson (Gloria Thorpe), Ray Demattis (Van Buren) and the ensemble offered a preview of four musical numbers for the assembled press, including “Heart,” and “Shoeless Joe From Hannibal Mo.”

The company also includes Susan Mosher, Jill Abramovitz, Steve Czarnecki, Gary Lynch, Mike Cannon, Giovanni Bonaventura, Grady McCleod Bowman, Scott Brateng, Dick Decareau, Taurean Everett, Justin Henry, Corey Hummerston, Robin Lounsbury, Robbie Roby, Ryan Steer, Lauren Elaine Taylor, Vaden Thurgood, and Anna Aimee White.

Paper Mill artistic director Mark S. Hoebee directs the musical, which features a score by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, and a book by George Abbott and Douglass Wallop.

The creative team features Denis Jones (choreography), Rob Bissinger (scenic design), Alejo Vietti (costume design), Tom Sturge (lighting design), Charles LaPointe (hair and wig design), and Randy Hansen (sound design).
