Edward Norton received the Signature Theatre’s Playwrights’ Award at the Signature Center Opening Gala Celebration, at the company’s new Frank Gehry-designed Signature Center on Monday, January 30.

Gehry was on hand for the event, as was Signature artistic director James Houghton and executive director Erica Mallin.

Guests included playwrights Edward Albee, Annie Baker, Will Eno, Katori Hall, David Henry Hwang, and Leslie Lee; playwright/performer Regina Taylor; director Leigh Silverman; and actors Michael Chernus, Robert Cuccioli, Colman Domingo, Marin Ireland, Tonya Pinkins, Laila Robbins, Dallas Roberts, Scott Shepard, Kevin Spacey, Alan Tumusiime, and Michael Urie.
