Roundabout Theatre Company celebrated the opening of Mary Chase’s Harvey on Thursday, June 14 at Studio 54.
Directed by Scott Ellis, the revival of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play stars Jim Parsons as Elwood P. Dowd, a kindly man who has an unbreakable friendship with an 6-foot-tall, invisible white rabbit named Harvey. Parsons is joined by Jessica Hecht, Charles Kimbrough, Larry Bryggman, Peter Benson, Tracee Chimo, Holley Fain, Carol Kane, Angela Paton, Rich Sommer, and Morgan Spector.
Guests at the opening included Alec Baldwin, Bobby Cannavale, Nolan Gerard Funk, David Gregory, John Benjamin Hickey, John Hodgman, Katie Holliday, Elaine Joyce, Julianna Margulies, Debra Monk, Laura Osnes, Paul Shaffer, Neil Simon, John Slattery, Hilaria Thomas, Julie White, and Rachel York.
