Two-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone will return to 54 Below with her solo show The Lady With the Torch for a two-week run from April 1-14. The cabaret performances are a continuation of LuPone's two-year contract, guaranteeing two-week engagements at the Broadway supper club twice yearly through 2016.

Conceived and directed by Tony winner Scott Wittman (Hairspray), The Lady With the Torch features selections by songwriters such as Arthur Schwartz, Howard Dietz, Jule Styne, Sammy Cahn, Billy Barnes, Harold Arlen, George and Ira Gershwin, and Cole Porter. The show also features musical direction by Joseph Thalken, orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick, and dialogue by Jeffrey Richman.

LuPone is best known for her Tony-winning performances in Evita and Gypsy, as well as for her Tony-nominated turns in The Robber Bridegroom, Anything Goes, Sweeney Todd, and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. She is currently performing in a Los Angeles Opera production of The Ghosts of Versailles, directed by Tony winner Darko Tresnjak (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder).
