Original Four Seasons Member Attends Muny Performance of Jersey Boys

Bob Gaudio, a founding member of the Four Seasons and the band's principal songwriter, attended the July 15 performance of the world regional premiere of Jersey Boys at the Muny. With performances through July 16, the production features Mark Ballas as Frankie Valli, Bobby Conte Thornton as Bob Gaudio, Nicolas Dromard as Tommy DeVito, and Keith Hines as Nick Massi.

This is the first licensed production of Jersey Boys in the world. The hit musical is directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes with music direction by Rick Bertone. Winner of the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical, Jersey Boys is the story of the hit group Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, featuring a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music by Bob Gaudio, and lyrics by Bob Crewe.

The ensemble includes Michelle Aravena, Candi Boyd, Daryl Tofa, Tommy Martinez, Carissa Massaro, Trina Mills, Harris Milgrim, Dakota Mullins, Ben Nordstrom, Michael Seltzer, Gabi Stapula, and Victor Wisehart. The Muny Teen youth ensemble will participate in the production as well.
