Off-Broadway Revival of Jerry Herman Musical Milk and Honey Announces Cast

The J2 Spotlight Musical Theater Company has announced the cast for its off-Broadway revival of Milk and Honey, running April 16-26 at AMT Theater.

The cast will feature Ari Axelrod as David, Eric Michael Gillette as Phil, Susan J. Jacks as Mrs. Glick, Kelly Lester as Ruth, Alaina Mills as Barbara, Gael Schaefer as Mrs. Fromkin, Samantha Schiffman as Zipporah, Neva Small as Mrs. Weiss, and Larry Toyter as Adi. The ensemble includes Kyra Christopher, Ty Koeller, Richard Koons (also as Ambassador), Will Mosier, Adam B. Shapiro (also as Tour Guide), and Morgan Sheehan.

The first Broadway musical from Jerry Herman, with a book by Don Appell, Milk and Honey is a romantic comedy about a group of American women who vacation to Israel.

This production is directed by J2 Spotlight artistic director and co-founder Robert W. Schneider, with music direction by Harry Collins and choreography by Oren Korenblum. The creative team also includes music supervisor Miles Plant, associate director Mike Meaney, lighting designer Christian Specht, and dramaturg Frederick Miller.
