White will play Olive Ostrovsky after Jasmine Amy Rogers leaves the show.

Kimberly Akimbo‘s Nina White will join the cast of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as Olive Ostrovsky, a role she played in the 2024 Kennedy Center production, beginning August 10. She replaces Tony Award nominee Jasmine Amy Rogers, who, as previously announced, will play her final performance as Olive on August 9.
It was also announced that original cast member and Tony Award nominee Justin Cooley will take a leave of absence starting on June 24 and returning on July 22. Fernell Hogan joins the company as an understudy and will cover the role of Leaf Coneybear during Cooley’s leave of absence.
Conceived by Rebecca Feldman with additional material by Jay Reiss, Spelling Bee features a Tony Award-winning book by Rachel Sheinkin and a by Tony Award winner William Finn. This new 20th anniversary production is directed and choreographed by Danny Mefford.
