NBC has canceled The Playboy Club, according to published reports. The show premiered on Monday, September 19.
The show, set in the 1960s in the world of Playboy clubs, starred Tony Award winner Laura Benanti, along with Eddie Cibrian, Amber Heard, and Naturi Naughton.
The network will air repeats of its new drama, Prime Suspect, for the next three Mondays, and will then begin airing the newsmagazine Rock Center With Brian Williams beginning on October 31.
