Musicals Tonight! Slates More Concerts Featuring Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies

Musicals Tonight! will continue its salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway standbys and understudies with two new editions of At This Performance… on Sunday and Monday, October 29 and 30, at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre (Broadway at 76th Street, above the Promenade Theatre). Both concerts will begin at 8pm.

Hosted by casting director Stephen DeAngelis, the series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences. Danny Percefull will serve as musical director/accompanist for both of the upcoming concerts. Following is a list of those scheduled to appear, with the performers’ names followed by the roles they cover:

Karmine Alers (Mimi and Maureen in Rent); Michelle Aravena (Diana, Maggie, Bebe, and Connie in A Chorus Line); Nicolette Hart (Linda and Holly in The Wedding Singer); Robert Hunt (Javert in Les Misérables); Kevin Kern (Robbie Hart, George, and Glen Gulia in The Wedding Singer); Brandi Chavonne Massey (Elphaba in Wicked); Betsy Morgan (Luisa and The Mute in The Fantasticks); Clifton Oliver (Fiyero in Wicked); Joey Sorge (Adolpho, Gangster #1, Gangster #2, and Robert Martin in The Drowsy Chaperone); Bryan West (Link Larkin and Corny Collins in Hairspray); Patrick Wetzel (Man in Chair, Feldzieg, Underling, and George in The Drowsy Chaperone).
