Karla Mosley will join author Lenelle Moïse in her two-person musical play, Expatriate, to play the Culture Project July 7-August 14, with an official opening set for July 16. Tamilla Woodard will direct the production, with choreography by Nathaniel Nicco Annan.
The play is an exploration of black womanhood, friendship, sexuality and freedom, celebrating characters in the spirit of Nina Simone, Josephine Baker and the Hottentot Venus.
