Meera Simhan’s one-woman show, Miss India America, is set to run at the ACME Comedy Theatre, October 16-November 12. Shishir Kurup will direct.
Simhan’s work follows the life of a second generation South Asian girl who searches for identity, authenticity and freedom, in the face of strong cultural and societal values in an attempt integrate into a white middle class suburban world of Orange County, California.
Simhan’s credits include recurring roles on House, Nip/Tuck, Invasion, and The District along with guest starring roles this season on Heroes and NUMB3RS. She also recently starred in Date Movie.
