Two-time Tony winner Matthew Broderick will star in the New Group's upcoming American premiere of Wallace Shawn's new play, Evening at the Talk House. The work will run January 31-March 12 at the Pershing Square Signature Center, with opening night set for February 16.
Broderick will play Robert, a playwright celebrating the 10th anniversary of an underappreciated masterpiece with the show's original company.
Also in the cast are the previously announced Jill Eikenberry as Nellie, John Epperson as Ted, Larry Pine as Tom, Wallace Shawn as Dick, Claudia Shear as Annette, Annapurna Sriram as Jane, and Michael Tucker as Bill.
Directed by Scott Elliott, the production features scenic design by Derek McLane, costume design by Jeff Mahshie, and lighting design by Jennifer Tipton. The drama premiered in 2015 at the National Theatre of Great Britain.
