Logan Marshall-Green will join the cast of the science fiction movie Prometheus, according to a report in Variety. Ridley Scott will direct the project, which begins shooting this spring.
Marshall-Green is slated to play the love interest for a character played by Noomi Rapace. The movie, originally announced as a prequel to Alien, will also star Michael Fassbender and Charlize Theron.
Marshall-Green is currently appearing in Adam Rapp’s The Hallway Trilogy Off-Broadway. Among his many other stage credits are Dog Sees God, Swimming in the Shallows, and Bus Stop. On television, he has appeared on such series as 24, The O.C., and Traveler.
