Tony winner Bartlett Sher directs the production.
Lincoln Center Theater has announced an online ticket lottery for its production of J.T. Rogers' play Oslo, beginning with March 23's first preview. The production, which runs at Broadway's Vivian Beaumont Theater, will open April 13.
A limited number of tickets priced at $39 will be sold each day to the winners of the lottery. Entries will be accepted online beginning one week before any given performance, with winners chosen at random and notified by email and/or text message by 10:05am EST on the day before the performance.
Described as a darkly comic epic, Oslo tells the story of how Norwegian diplomat Mona Juul and her husband, social scientist Terje Rød-Larsen, planned and orchestrated top-secret, high-level meetings between the State of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization, which culminated in the signing of the historic 1993 Oslo Accords.
Directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher (Fiddler on the Roof), the Broadway mounting will feature the production's original cast: Michael Aronov, Anthony Azizi, Adam Dannheisser, Jennifer Ehle, Daniel Jenkins, Dariush Kashani, Jeb Kreager, Jefferson Mays, Christopher McHale, Daniel Oreskes, Angela Pierce, Henny Russell, Joseph Siravo, and T. Ryder Smith. The production will once again have sets by Michael Yeargan, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting by Donald Holder, sound by Peter John Still, and projections by 59 Productions.
