Jessica Hecht, Mary Testa, and Julie White starred in the Indigo Theatre Project's benefit reading of Robert Harling's screenplay The First Wives Club on October 13 at the Mainstage Theater at Playwrights Horizons. Trip Cullman staged the evening, the proceeds of which went to The Actors Fund's Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative. The company also includeded John Ellison Conlee, Darren Goldstein, Stephen Kunken, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Margo Seibert, Sarah Steele, Halley Feiffer, Mary Beth Peil, Michael Cyril Creighton, Julie Halston, Mark Blum, and Kelley Curran.
