John Stamos will host a carnival-themed special event on April 26 at Carnival, near Union Square in New York City. The event will help to raise funds and awareness for the organization Project Cuddle, a 24-hour, toll-free crisis phone line to stop baby abandonment.
The evening will feature games, food and drinks and an auction, which can be previewed at www.charitybuzz.com.
Stamos recently appeared on Broadway in Bye Bye Birdie. His other Broadway credits include Nine and Cabaret. The actor is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Jesse Katsopolis on the hit sitcom Full House. In addition to his acting work, Stamos is national spokesperson for Project Cuddle and chairman of the organization’s advisory board.
