Stage and screen star John Goodman will join NBC’s hit sitcom Community this season for at least six episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He will play the vice-dean of Greendale Community College’s air-conditioning program.
Goodman’s stage credits include Big River and the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Waiting for Godot on Broadway and the Public Theater’s productions of The Seagull and The Skin of Our Teeth in Central Park.
He is best known for his work on the television series Roseanne and his other film and television credits include Treme, Damages, The Big Lebowski, O Brother Where Art Thou?, and Barton Fink.
