Casting has been announced for the newest installment of The Thalia Follies, entitled, Race for the White House, to play Symphony Space, May 17-19.
Created by Symphony Space Founding Director Isaiah Sheffer and veteran comedy writer Martin Sage, Race for the White House addresses the biggest issues of this Presidential election cycle. The cast will include Ivy Austin, Kathryn Markey and Mary Brienza of The Chalks; singer Eric Poindexter; soprano Lisa Flanagan; and comedian Joel Chasnoff. Joining the Follies for select dates are special guest stars, including jazz bassist/songwriter Jay Leonhart and comedian Katie Goodman. Beth Ertz will serve as musical director.
