Jimmy Awards Announce 2018 Inspiring Teacher Award Recipients

The Jimmy Awards has announced that Janine Papin and Nadine Love will receive the 2018 Inspiring Teacher Award Presented by Wells Fargo at its annual ceremony, to be held Monday, June 25, at the Minskoff Thetre.

The Inspiring Teacher Award is presented for the encouragement and inspiration that led their students to win the coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor. Papin, of Trinity Preparatory School in Winter Park, Florida, was teacher of 2017 Jimmy winner Tony Moreno, with Love, of William R. Boone High School in Orlando, Florida, guiding Sofia Deler to the prize.

Eighty high school students from 40 regional programs across America will compete for the Jimmy for Best Performance by an Actor and Actress at this year's 10th annual presentation. A list of nominees will be announced.
