Oscar and Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson, who will make her Broadway debut in the fall in John Doyle's revival of The Color Purple, and Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick, who can currently be seen in the film adaptation of Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years, are among the performers set to take part in the 2015 Academy Awards telecast, broadcast on ABC on February 22 beginning at 7pm EST.

What Hudson and Kendrick will be performing is being kept under wraps. Hudson won a Supporting Actress Oscar for her role as Effie White in the 2006 screen adaptation of Dreamgirls. Kendrick stars as Cathy in Richard LaGravanese's Last Five Years film, and also plays Cinderella in Rob Marshall's screen version of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's musical Into the Woods.

The initial list of Oscars presenters also includes theater veterans Meryl Streep (Mother Courage and Her Children), Cate Blanchett (A Streetcar Named Desire), Lupita Nyong'o (The Winter's Tale), Scarlett Johansson (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), and Benedict Cumberbatch (Frankenstein), among others.

As previously reported, Tony and Emmy winner Neil Patrick Harris hosts the ceremony, which is produced by theater and film vets Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.
