Were it not for his trusty pair of eye glasses, young Ralphie Parker, the protagonist of the classic 1983 holiday film A Christmas Story, would have shot his eye out with the Red Ryder BB Gun that Santa brought for him.
In honor of opening night at Broadway’s A Christmas Story, The Musical, guests on the red carpet outside the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre were invited to don Ralphie’s pair of signature specs and show off their favorite look. Watch out for falling icicles (Ralphie’s excuse of choice).
