Get a Sneak Peek at The Cher Show's Trio of Stars
The pre-Broadway premiere of the new musical The Cher Show has released a first look at its trio of stars: Teal Wicks, Stephanie J. Block, and Micaela Diamond as Cher. Running at Chicago's Oriental Theatre, performances continue through July 15 before transferring to Broadway this fall. Get a sneak peek at these divas in the photo below.

Featured in the cast are Tony Award nominee Jarrod Spector (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) as Sonny Bono, Tony Award nominee Michael Berresse (Kiss Me, Kate) as Bob Mackie, Michael Campayno (Wicked) as Rob Camilletti, Matthew Hydzik (It Shoulda Been You) as Gregg Allman, and Tony Award nominee Emily Skinner (Prince of Broadway) as Georgia Holt.
The full company includes Marija Abney, Carleigh Bettiol, Taurean Everett, Michael Fatica, Ashley Blair Fitzgerald, Michael Graceffa, Blaine Alden Krauss, Sam Lips, Allie Meixner, Tiana Okoye, Amy Quanbeck, Angel Reda, Dee Roscioli, Michael Tacconi, Tory Trowbridge, Christopher Vo, Alena Watters, Charlie Williams, and Ryan Worsing.
The Cher Show is designed by Emmy Award winner Bob Mackie (costume design), Tony Award winner Christine Jones and Brett J. Banakis (set design), Tony Award winner Kevin Adams (lighting design), Nevin Steinberg (sound design), and Darrel Maloney (video design).
The musical features a book by Rick Elice (Jersey Boys) and is directed by Jason Moore (Avenue Q). Christopher Gattelli serves as choreographer, with Daryl Waters providing orchestrations, arrangements, and musical supervision. Cher's classic songs will make up the score.
Production notes describe the production as follows: "The Cher Show is based on the life of Cherilyn Sarkisian La Piere Bono Allman or as her friends call her, Cher! The kid on a tricycle, vowing to be famous. The teenage phenom who crashes by twenty. The glam TV star who quits at the top. The would-be actress with an Oscar. The rock goddess with a hundred million records sold. The legend who's done it all, still scared to walk on stage. The wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend. The woman, looking for love. The ultimate survivor, chasing her dream. They're all here, dressed to kill, singing their asses off, telling it like it is. And they're all the star of The Cher Show."
