Performances of the show begin tonight.
Sex With Strangers starts its run at the George Street Playhouse this evening.
Ethan is a hot-shot young blogger, known more for his womanizing than his writing. Olivia is a teacher whose writing career stalled after one book published years earlier. Despite knowing Ethan’s reputation, when the two meet, opposites attract, and the affair seems inevitable. But their motives, love, passion, opportunity, are unclear not only to each other but to themselves.
Laura Eason’s play is directed by George Street Playhouse artistic director David Saint, and it features Kyle Coffman as Ethan and JoAnna Rhinehart as Olivia.
The creative team includes Jason Simms (set design), Michael McDonald (costume design), Christopher Bailey (lighting design), and Scott Killian (sound design and original music).
Performances will run through March 27.
