George C. Wolfe to Receive SDC Director Award at Chita Rivera Awards

Wolfe is the director of ”Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus”, currently running on Broadway.

Four-time Tony Award winner George C. Wolfe will received the SDC Director Award for exemplary collaboration with choreographers on Broadway at the 2019 Chita Rivera Awards, taking place at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, May 19.

The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC) is the theatrical union that unites, empowers, and protects professional stage directors and choreographers throughout the United States. The SDC Director Award is presented annually to a director for their exemplary collaboration with choreographers on Broadway. Camille A. Brown (Choir Boy) will present the award to Wolfe at the ceremony.

Wolfe is currently directing Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus on Broadway.
