Full casting has been announced for Solas Nua’s American premiere of Take Me Away, October 2-26, set to open at the Mead Theatre Lab at Flashpoint. Linda Murray will direct.
Gerald Murphy’s dark comedy of a disintegrating family follows Eddie and his three sons, Andy, Bren, and Kev, as they visit their ailing mother in the hospital. The play was originally commissioned by Rough Magic Theatre and the Dublin Fringe Festival. The cast will feature Joe Cronin as Eddie, Jared Hill Mercier as Bren, Kevin O’Reilly as Kev, and Alexander Vernon as Andy.
