Full Cast Announced for Wanted on Broadway

Complete casting has been announced for Wanted, the musical formerly known as Gun & Powder, which will open on Broadway the James Earl Jones Theatre on November 8, 2026. Previews will begin October 15.

The musical takes place in Texas, 1893 and is based on the true story of Mary and Martha Clarke, two women who went from farm girls to outlaws. Determined to save their family, the twin sisters take fate into their own hands.

Playing Mary and Martha are Solea Pfeiffer and Liisi LaFontaine. Joining them are the previously announced Ledisi as Tallulah Clarke, Luke James as Elijah, Bradley Jaden as Jesse, Aurelia Williams as Sissy, and Awa Sal Secka as Flo.

Newly announced are Ximone Rose as the standby for Mary and Martha Clarke, Melody A. Betts, Aaron Arnell Harrington, Jennie Harney-Fleming, Rayshun LaMarr, Hailey Thomas and Harris Matthew Turner as the Kinfolk, and Wesley J. Barnes, Kailey Boyle, Meghan Olivia Corbett, Timothy Hughes, Crystal Joy, Mary Claire King, Brad Sharp, Danielle J. Summons, Nathan Quay Thomas, Katie Thompson, and Brent Thiessen.

Wanted features book and lyrics by Angelica Chéri, a real-life descendant of the Clarke sisters, music by Ross Baum, direction by Stevie Walker-Webb, music direction by Paul Byssainthe Jr., and choreography by Chelsey Arce.

Wanted had a run at Paper Mill Playhouse last year under the name Gun & Powder. That production starred LaFontaine, Ciara Renée, and Jeannette Bayardelle. Our critic said “This stirringly acted and memorably staged production contains all the elements needed to create a bona fide hit, although some judicious editing could leave it in even better shape.”

The show will have orchestrations by John Clancy, arrangements by Ross Baum & Austin Cook, music supervision by Nadia DiGiallonardo, scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, lighting design by Adam Honoré, costume design by Emilio Sosa, sound design by Gareth Owen, video & projection design by Stefania Bulbarella, hair, wig, & make-up design by J.
