Full Cast and Creative Team Announced for Williamstown Theatre Festival's Chita Rivera-Led The Visit

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced the full cast and creative team for The Visit, which will run from July 31-August 17 on the Main Stage. The musical, one of the last collaborations between John Kander and Fred Ebb, features a book by Tony Award winner Terrence McNally and choreography by the legendary Graciela Daniele. Tony winner John Doyle will direct.
Broadway legend Chita Rivera leads the cast as Claire Zachanassian, the oft-widowed richest woman in the world. The plot follows Claire as she returns to the hardship-stricken town of her birth, where the locals pray that her wealth will bring them a new lease on life. But the carefully plotted renewal she offers carries a dreadful price.
The full cast will also feature Tony winner Roger Rees as well as John Bambery, Jason Danieley, Matthew Deming, Diana DiMarzio, Melanie Field, David Garrison, Rick Holmes, Judy Kuhn, Jude McCormick, Tom Nelis, Chris Newcomer, Aaron Ramey, Timothy Shew, and Michelle Veintimilla.
The creative team of The Visit includes Scott Pask, Ann Hould-Ward, Japhy Weideman, Dan Moses Schreier, Paul Huntley, Angelina Avallone, and David Loud.
