”Me, My Mouth and I” will make its world premiere at the Cherry Lane Theatre.
Stand-up comedian and former The View host Joy Behar will star in her own solo show, Me, My Mouth and I, at the Cherry Lane Theatre beginning November 6. The production will play a seven-week engagement through December 21, with opening night set for November 23.
Me, My Mouth and I explores Behar's life, from her childhood in Brooklyn to her Emmy-winning run as of the panelist cohosts of TV's The View. Behar has been performing and workshopping the show at the Bucks County Playhouse and other venues across the tristate area.
Behar's non-stand-up stage appearances include starring roles in Nicky Silver's The Food Chain and Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues. Her film credits include Cookie, This Is My Life, and Manhattan Murder Mystery.
The show is produced by Cherry Lane Theatre and Behar's husband, Steve Janowitz.
