As the voice of Disney Princesses Mulan and Jasmine, Lea Salonga's voice has been heard by millions around the world. But on Broadway, she'll always be remembered for her landmark debut performance in Miss Saigon, which earned her a Tony Award at only 20 years of age. She's back on Broadway in the new musical Allegiance, which opened earlier this week at the Longacre Theatre, but we're flashing back to teenage Lea auditioning alongside composer Claude-Michel Schönberg in what was destined to be a beautiful friendship.
