Four years ago today, April 12, 2015, the music of George and Ira Gershwin returned to Broadway in Christopher Wheeldon's spectacular musical An American in Paris. Featuring a book by Craig Lucas that was inspired by the beloved film, An American in Paris introduced Broadway to dancers Robert Fairchild and Leanne Cope, who took on the central roles and got to dance the famous second-act ballet.
