First Look at Bathsheba Doran's The Mystery of Love & Sex

Arlington, Virginia's Signature Theatre has released productions photos from its D.C. premiere of Bathsheba Doran's The Mystery of Love & Sex, running from April 5-May 8.

Directed by Stella Powell-Jones, the play follows Charlotte and Jonny, complete opposites who have been best friends since they were children. Now, as college students on the eve of graduation, they toy around with making their friendship romantic.

The cast stars Shayna Blass as Charlotte and Xavier Scott Evans as Jonny, with Emily Townley as Charlotte's mother, Lucinda, Jeff Still as Charlotte's father, Howard, and David A. Schmidt as Howard's father.

The creative team includes lighting design by Jesse Belsky, costume design by Ásta Hostetter, sound design by James Bigbee Garver, scenic design by Jim Kronzer, and assistant scenic design by Jeremy W. Foil.
